Before I automate a workflow, I now design the evidence that it worked: validation, cost monitoring, alerts, backups, and a recovery path.
Then I inspect it again every two weeks.
Models change. Integrations change. Files corrupt. Handoffs expose dependencies nobody saw when the workflow lived inside one function.
Engineering-led companies don’t need more agents reporting activity.
They need adaptive GTM systems that reveal where customer context, quality, cost, and follow-through disappear.
Autonomy without observability is unreported GTM failure.
