They gave us the ability to think about something else.
Good design doesn’t ask for our admiration.
It lets us stop thinking about the wrong thing.
That’s where we are with AI today.
We keep talking about the tools.
The better question is what happens to the attention we get back.
We’re not just building systems that do more.
We’re building systems we don’t have to watch every second.
That changes where judgment lies.
AI gives us back time.
The question is what we redesign with it.
